Monterey Bay has some of the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see. Asilomar in Pacific Grove sets the scene for brilliant sunsets with it’s beautiful coastline, winding trails, and inspiring rock formations that are so much fun to climb. They also make for a nice front row seat to watching the sun set 
Be forewarned though, the waves here are unpredictable at times so please use extreme caution and sense.
Wear good hiking shoes if you’re going to walk along the rocks. Wear a jacket and a beanie because it gets cold here. Not much for the cold, just park your car and watch the sunset from your car!!! Don’t forget your camera or to have your Phone Charged to take photos!!!
